PTA Work Session

During this informal, open-house style session, PTA volunteers and community members are invited to bring their work to Whittier and get things done while discussing some more strategic PTA topics. Work can include PTA work items, outside volunteer work, knitting–anything! All are invited and welcome to join!

Work sessions are in-person at the Whittier Library from 7-9pm on the first Tuesday of most months. Please follow posted directions (on the door) if you find the front door locked!

This month, we’ll be building on February’s discussing on volunteer engagement and talking about 2025-2026 planned PTA activities. During this time, we’ll review our current workload and see how we can tackle some other community-sourced ideas for next year:

• Room Rep role to expand caregiver community building
• Student-student community building
• Family mentor program for Kinders
• Day-of event volunteer strategy
