Spring Fling 2023

The Spring Fling is an annual event that raises funds for essential staff and services at Whittier Elementary. This includes staffing grants to support literacy and art programs, scholarships, teacher discretionary funds, school-day enrichment, and much more.

Details

Date: Saturday, May 20 (5-9pm)
Location – Whittier Elementary Block Party (13th Ave NW)
Theme: Top Gun – Highway to the Wildcat Zone! Come dressed as your favorite Top Gun character, a fighter pilot, or simply don some aviators and call it good. Feel free to be casual!
Tickets:
- $35 per individual or $60 for a couple
- Two drink tickets included per ticket purchased

Silent Auction:
- This year’s Silent Auction will be entirely online with QR codes and WIFI available throughout the event to help in-person attendees bid.
- All bidding opens at 5:00pm on Saturday, May 20th
- Categories of items will start to close starting at 7pm:
  - 7:00pm – Classroom Art and Themed Buckets bidding closes
  - 7:15pm – First set of Silent Auction items closes
  - 7:30pm – Second set of Silent Auction items, Hosted Parties, and Staff Experiences closes
- If you’ve won, you’ll collect your items in the gym between 8:15-9pm during Spring Fling. If you can’t pick-up your item or didn’t attend in-person, you’ll need to pick-up your item on Monday, May 22nd at pick-up or drop-off.
