Whittier PTA Belonging Groups

For the 20205-2026 school year,  the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee of the PTA is introducing Belonging Groups, with the goal of connecting Whittier Caregivers in an intentional way to build community and belonging.

What is a belonging group? A belonging group is a community-led group that shares common identities, foster a sense of connection, create a safe and inclusive space, and supports members in exploring their shared experiences.  We are launching three belonging groups this fall.

If you have questions, or would like information on forming a belonging group, please email EDI@whittierptaseattle.org

Caregivers of Gender Diverse Kids Belonging Group:

Join Whittier Caregivers of kids who identify outside the gender binary—including trans, non-binary, genderfluid youth, and any kiddo who may be questioning their gender identity—in building a supportive and inclusive community!
