Run, Walk, or Move to Raise Money for Whittier PTA!

Whittier’s Wildcats will run, walk, or move to help support their school during this year’s Move-a-thon on April 24th! This year, our Wildcat students are aiming to raise $20,000 to support essential staff and services at Whittier through community donations. When you donate to support a Wildcat during Move-a-thon, your donation supports Whittier students having more access to literacy support, math support and challenge, more nursing support, and daily access to Specialists (P.E., Performing Arts, Visual Arts), along with curriculum and instructional supports, field trips and in-schools residencies (like Massive Monkees), and other programming. 2nd: 9:20 – 9:50 
5th: 9:55 – 10:25 
1st: 12:10 – 12:40 
3rd: 12:45 – 1:15 
4th: 1:20 – 1:50  

Create Your Wildcat's Donation Page

During Move-a-thon, every Wildcat creates a donation page to share with their friends, family, and community to collect donations. If each Wildcat raises $60, we’ll reach our $20,000 financial goal this year! Here’s how to create your Wildcat’s donation page:

  1. Visit https://app.givebacks.gives/whittiermoveathon/Campaign/Details and click on the “Sign Up” button
  2.  On the next page, click on the “Student Sign Up” 
  3. Adjust the quantity to match the number of Wildcat students you’re creating donation pages for and click “Add to Cart”
  4. Select “Check Out Now”
  5. Complete registration information for each student and click “Save.” Note: You can customize your student’s donation page URL to match their name to make it easier to remember!
  6. Once you’ve entered all the registration information, hit “Next”
  7.  You’ll be asked to checkout (psst – use your existing Givebacks account if you’re a PTA member!) at no cost.
  8. Once you’ve completed the “checkout” process, you’ll land on a page that says “Thank you for your registration!” This page includes link(s) to your student fundraising pages. Copy and save these links!
  9. Visit your student’s donation page to see their progress. Send this page to friends, family, and community and ask them to donate and help fund essential staff and services at Whittier! You can also customize the image on this page (make it your Wildcat doing something they love or in front of Whittier!) by clicking on the “Change Image” button on the bottom right of the existing default image.

Donate to Support a Wildcat

Option 1: Find the Donation page of the Wildcat you’re looking to support by asking their caregiver for a link to their direct Donation page!

Option 2: Visit https://app.givebacks.gives/whittiermoveathon/Campaign/Details and click “Donate.” During the checkout process, you’ll be asked to choose which Wildcat you’d like to support. If you don’t see the student’s name and you’d like your donation assigned to them, you can enter their name in the customizable field instead. Please note students have individual fundraising goals, but the Move-a-thon experience is a collective fundraiser where all donations and effort are combined to benefit the Whittier community.
