Download the 2025-26 Whittier Student Directory!

The 2025-26 Whittier student directory is now available for download! Many thanks to all the families and Wildcat artists who participated. We recommend bookmarking this link to access the most current version, as the PTA makes updates throughout the year.

To protect families’ privacy, we will only share the directory through channels that are private to the Whittier community (Konstella, Cindy’s email).

The PTA compiles the student directory each school year in coordination with families who wish to opt in. Families can use the directory to plan playdates, birthdays, and other fun! Opting in is voluntary. We only share the information you provide.

Please let us know if we made a mistake! If you need to add or update your family’s contact info, contact elzingg@gmail.com.

Happy holidays!

Laura, Janet, and Angie

Tuesday Kirke Park Pickup Games

Hey Whittier Community. I am 2nd grader Newland Browning’s Father. I would like to organize pickup games on Tuesdays after school at Kirke Park, starting at around 2:45. My plan is to be there with Newland and various balls, bats, etc every Tuesday rain or shine to get some games going. I am happy to organize at first but am hoping for a critical mass of kids stopping by from week to week so that it can be kid-led with minimal parent involvement or supervision. Newland loves to play sports but is having trouble finding public spots where pickup games are happening. If your Whittier kid of any age is looking for something to do on Tuesdays come by Kirke or send them over and we’ll see if we can get something going!

Tumbles Gym in Ballard – Opening Soon!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Tumbles, Ballard’s newest children’s gym and movement facility, is officially opening its doors soon! Tumbles is dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children from 4 months through age 12 can develop crucial motor skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for fitness. We will be offering structured gym classes, camps, and unforgettable birthday parties.

To celebrate our arrival and to thank our community, we set aside time just for Whittier Families! This is a wonderful opportunity for the Whittier community to explore our facility and experience our activities completely free of charge before we open to the public.

Date: Friday, November 7th
Time: 4 – 5pm
Location: Tumbles Ballard, 5680 57th Street NW, Seattle, WA 98107

We’ll have our staff on hand to guide kids through a few sample activities, answer any questions about our curriculum and scheduling, and help get folks signed up for classes.

We look forward to partnering with you to bring healthy, active fun to the Ballard community!

Warmly,
Marrianne

Thank you, Wildcats!
